I must be one of the few Seniors at my school that doesn't drive to school, which as a senior is kinda a "womp, womp, womp" kind of situation since my schedule consists of all three lunch periods being free and only 2 "serious" classes; bio-ethical issues and journalism. Except not really only because my bio-ethical issue class consist of mostly seniors and 2 underclassmen, but no one is actual (mentally) in class. And in my journalism class I'm part of the graphic department which means all i do is photoshop images at 7 o'clock in the AM ( 0 period). Yeah i made my senior year pretty simple. Anyways in the mornings im left to bargain deals between my brother and mom who usually take me to school. It goes something like this:
Me: "Juan can u pleeeaase take me to school today?"
Juan: *groans* " Ang, pleeeease not today, tomorrow okay?"
Me: -____- "why cant you just take me since you are using MYYYY car?"
Juan: *hit his face with a pillow* "cause i had a late night"
Me: "I DONT CARE. You fat cow!"
*****shuffle to moms bedroom*****
Me: "Mom can you please take me to school??? I'm going to be late!"
Mom: *opens her eyes squinting* " what did Juan say?"
Me: "He's being dumb"
Mom:".... get my boots. I'll be down in 5 mins. Start the car."
Me: "Okay!"
So im a brat... whatever! Excusssseee me! If i don't feel like getting up at 5am to get ready to take the bus at 6:30 and take the bus. And its not like my school makes it any easier for people in "South end" (lets just say its the urban area of Montclair, NJ, except not really because its Montclair), they only provide a bus for people who live in Upper Montclair, which according to them they need a bus cause they live 4 miles away from school, while South end is about 3 miles away. Yup that Montclair for you.
During the afternoon i usually take the 28 bus ( to my dads) that just so happens to be on the corner of my school. The only bad part about is that you have to leave school a couple minutes before the school bell actually rings. Which isn't such a big deal for me because i have yearbook class (yup, told you i chose all easy classes). If you miss that bus, then sucks for you! cause the next one doesn't come until the next 45mins or you can walk walk down to the ave which is about 4 or 5 blocks down (not too bad) and catch the 11 (goes towards Newark).

The 28 consists of ratchetness, Christ the King (private school of Newark) had a school field trip one day to my towns university and they were riding the 28, after i had missed the first bus. You should have seen my face, it dropped. Luckily that day the bus driver was paying attention to how much money each person paid because it was physically impossible for him. Because there were all of these teachers in the front standing cheek to cheek surrounding him. It was almost impossible to breath. The other day i was on the 28 and i sat shoulder to shoulder (as usual) next to this women who dressed as a man, i realized there was a spider on the shim's (she/him) head. I contemplated for 3 stops if i should even say anything. 1. If i was to say something i wouldn't know how they would react- would they scream and shake there head and somehow it would be on me or would they just flick it off of them and not make a big deal out of it 2. My friends told me there was a women one day riding the 34 that had fallen asleep and a spider was crawling on the women's face. They were too freaked to not say anything. I promised myself after hearing that story that if i was in that position i would. Now mind you im not as freaked out by spiders as most of my friends are. I was taught to just remain calm and take off your shoe, but if it was on the wall grab a tissue and run to the toilet and flush it away! Well by the end of my mixed thoughts i realized the spider was on her right shoulder and it was near to jumping on me.....sooo i told shim. They freaked out and shook it on to me and said thanks -_____- I desperately looked for the spider only to find it on the ground. A sigh of relief. Another afternoon of conquering the 28 pheeeww!
