CIP

Class of 2012 quote
At my school  seniors are given the choice of finishing the rest of the year by doing the routinely thing by going to classes and what not or they have the choice to be an intern at a place that could somehow impact them with future careers. The internship begins 2 weeks before finals (3rd week in May) and ends after 4 weeks. Those who are fortunate to go must have a certain GPA, amount of absences, and "if" your given permission by all of your teachers to participate. Its called the Career Internship Program, but everyone calls it senior option (as it previously was known). The third component of the program consist of every teacher signing out students with a final grade. From then on all grades a frozen. The best part is that we don't have to take finals after that.
Students usually apply to work with a parent who has their own company because all they do is lounge around or actually look for a job. BTW this isn't a paid internship at all. Which is what i was going to do with my aunt who owns her own store until i got a phone call back from someone from the YMCA (where i applied for my internship). I spoke to the lady that had called me back and this soon seemed like a better plan because i have no working experience at all, i can list this internship as a background for working and the fact that i have a better opportunity to get a job during the summer through the Y, even though it's at the Y with a thousand crying babies.
So as this week winds down I'm already missing high school. That's something i could never imagine me saying as a freshman. My school has a tradition of writing the graduation class year on these 4 huge windows across from the main library and every senior writes their names with glass markers, and now its my turn :( / :) i still have a whole month until i graduate, but i wont be at school during that time.
Anyways.... any good senior pranks? suggestions please- and no the 1-4 minus the the 3rd pig  prank or set alarm clocks at our graduating yr.
